The Charleston Bee Company asked us to design a site to showcase and sell their products online, organize shipping methods and provide resources for other beekeepers. Charleston Bee Company also needed branding guidance, business setup guidance and professional email. Rue Design Co. assisted in all aspects of branding, setting up email and analytics, and designing the site. We worked on a tight deadline to get them live before their first in-person sales at the local farmers market.
Charleston Bee Company wanted a simple, seamless site that allowed users to browse their products, learn their story, view resources and make purchases. We designed them a site using WordPress & WooCommerce that allowed them to easily keep track of their sales across all devices, both online and in-person.
It goes without saying that a site that works on mobile and tablet is a necessity in today’s fast-paced world, but especially so for an e-commerce site. We built Charleston Bee Company’s site to operate seamlessly for consumers making purchases on-the-go.

Charleston Bee Company needed the ability to sell products online and in-person through a POS (Point-of-Sale) app. Using WooCommerce we built them a shop with unique products, prices and stock quantity that were synced on both the site and app for easy record-keeping.

Charleston Bee Company needed a secure payment processor that made for an easy checkout experience with multiple payment options, including mobile pay. They also needed the ability to sync products for easy inventory reports and access for their accountant come tax season. Stripe provided desktop and mobile solutions to work seamlessly for all transactions.
